1. The partners and staff of Hodgson Elkington are not qualified or authorised to
advise on asbestos, contamination or other environmental matters.

2. The introduction of asbestos/environmental consultants to clients and customers does not constitute a recommendation. Clients and customers of Hodgson Elkington must satisfy themselves that any consultant that they engage is appropriately experienced, qualified and insured to provide the advice required.

3. The cost of hosting and maintaining this website is paid for by the consultants
participating in the survey fee estimating service.

4. The cost of storing asbestos surveys within the asbestos survey databank is £25.00 per property per annum and paid for by the consultant commissioned to undertake the survey. This payment will be included in the survey fee estimate.

5. Copies of asbestos surveys in PDF format will be e-mailed from the databank direct to nominated recipients only on the authority of the client or their authorised
representative.

6. Six PDF downloads per annum will be provided without charge. Additional PDF
downloads will be charged for at £5.00 each.

7. The contract for the provision of survey services is between the customer and the
consultant. Neither Hodgson Elkington nor Wilson Leppard LLP are parties to that contract.

8. Neither Hodgson Elkington nor Wilson Leppard LLP accept any liability for survey
results or their interpretation.

9. Wilson Leppard LLP and Hodgson Elkington reserve the right to alter or withdraw the asbestos survey databank and asbestos survey fee estimating service at any time on three months’ notice.

10. No liability is accepted for the failure of electronic storage equipment or media.
The liability of Wilson Leppard LLP and Hodgson Elkington will be restricted in all cases to the fee charged by them for the electronic storage and/or electronic retrieval of a PDF document registered with the asbestos survey databank.

11. All fees and charges are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate and the VAT
registration number of Wilson Leppard LLP is 796511692
